North CAPE – Hamningberg
Really wild region, a kind of 2nd North Cape, more discreet …
North Cape – Hamningberg
a lunar landscape made of rocks
The 70 participants of this 19th Paris North Cape don’t leave again to the South, they are headed to the Far East: Hammninberg. The road is long but the last kilometers are extraordinary. They allow to cross a lunar landscape made of rocks that give the impression of crossing a lava field. Hammninberg is a tiny little village that was 100 years back, the largest fishing port in Norway. Today it consists of twenty small colored houses whose access in winter is only possible by snowmobile. The participants are gathered around a fire some meters from the ocean and in an atmosphere that gives them the impression of living in the era of the Vikings.
