The TRUE North Cape

The North Cape has been reached but we are only halfway through the adventure and there are still many important steps !

From today the goal is to reach the TRUE North Cape. Tens of thousands of tourists reach the North Cape site but they don’t know that this is not quite the case. The extreme tip of Europe is on their left and can only be reached by foot.

This hike is quite difficult because it is 18km long and in a spirit of « speleology »: the path is downhill and return uphill! 16 participants managed to reach the northernmost point of Europe called Knivskjelodden. The closures of this hike arrived at their vehicle just at midnight. The sun was unfortunately not there, but the sky was clear enough to enjoy the extraordinary scenery of the island of Magerøya.
