Frösön/Östersund (Sweden/Jämtland ) 30 July 2017.
Hallo Oleg and Oksana. As I see you come from Ukraine to participate to the Raid Paris-Cap North .I suppose you don´t probleme to speak with the others members of this Raid .The most people are from France and Belgium and some speak English.
I see you already was with the raid 2010 . I could have met you in 2010, July 25, in Rönnöfors, when Philippe had asked me to choose a place for the night.
I had chosen this place of Rönnöfors near a river, and if you remember, the weather was rainy that day.
Good luck. Jean-Pierre LEVY
25 July 2010, Blattnicksele-Rönnöförs
Early departure for most of the raiders this morning, the stage is long.
There is 480 km to go before arriving to the region of Rönnöförs where an other wild camping is waiting for the crews.
First check point of the day on the last tracks of the trip for the participants.
For the first time in the raid’s history, no one went out of the tracks accidentally during the journey on the paths of Norway, Finland and Sweden.
Jean-Pierre Levy, French native of Lyon living in Sweden, has been load of finding a place for the campsite tonight.
Fortuitous meeting with Philippe a couple years ago during a previous raid, he helped them finding a solution for a car that was out of order.
Since them, he regularly contributes to the organization of the raid for its passage in Sweden.
He chose for us a place surrounded by trees with a view on a river, nearby a little hut where people could make a fire and eat under cover from the rain.
In the north of Sweden, the weather didn’t get better. This time again, tents are settled down under the rain. People are eating in the hut, under the car’s trunk or under a cover for the best equipped.
Only advantage, with the bad weather, the mosquitos are less numerous and give a little respite to the anckles to become less swollen…
For the Looser Team (Pic et Poc, Satanas et Diabolo, Les Chevronnés and Charly) who bought 2 Bag-in-box of wine, weird surprise !
The box are filled of concentrated grape juice that need to fermented during a whole month before becoming wine.
It seems that it can be drunk, diluted in water.
36 litre…
